These terms govern your use of cakedummyfoam.com and any purchase you make from us. By placing an order you agree to them. We are Cake Dummy Foam, a foam cutting shop based in Webster, Florida.
Products and descriptions
We cut every piece to order from EPS foam. Sizes listed are nominal and cut to a tolerance of approximately 1/8 inch. Foam is a natural-looking material with slight surface variation between batches; photographs are representative, not exact. Colour is white unless stated otherwise.
Our products are display and practice items. They are not food and must never be eaten or placed in direct contact with food that will be consumed. Use a board, wrap or barrier between foam and any edible element.
Pricing and payment
All prices are in US dollars and may change without notice. The price that applies is the one shown at checkout when you complete your order. We reserve the right to correct pricing errors and to cancel and refund an order placed at an obviously incorrect price.
Payment is processed by Shopify Payments and the card networks. We do not store your card details.
Orders and acceptance
Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we begin cutting or ship it, whichever comes first. We may decline or cancel any order — including for suspected fraud, an address we cannot ship to, or a quantity we cannot fulfil — and will refund you in full if we do.
Custom orders
Custom shapes and sizes are quoted individually. Once you approve a specification and we begin cutting, the order cannot be cancelled and is final sale. See our Return Policy.
Shipping and risk
Shipping terms, rates and transit estimates are set out in our Shipping Policy. Transit times are carrier estimates, not guarantees, and we are not liable for carrier delays. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery; if a package is lost or damaged in transit, contact us and we will handle the carrier claim.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost business, missed events or the cost of a replacement cake.
Intellectual property
The content of this site — text, photographs, product descriptions and the Cake Dummy Foam name and logo — belongs to us and may not be copied for commercial use without permission.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Florida.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version posted at the time you place your order is the one that applies to it.
