Why buy these cut rather than cut them yourself
A clean window through foam is genuinely hard to do twice the same way by hand. The inside edge has to stay square and the curve has to stay smooth, and a hot wire wanders the moment you change angle. These come cut on a machine, so the opening is the same on every piece.
What the cutout is for
You fill the recess with flowers, fruit, macarons, a contrasting colour or a light, and the cake reads as a designed object rather than a plain tier. It is the shape behind the fault line trend.
Sizes
Singles from 8" to 12" diameter in 4" and 6" heights, plus two-tier sets where both openings are cut together so they line up when stacked.
Why our foam costs more than the cheap stuff
Dense, fine-cell EPS with a closed surface — no visible beads, no pitting. The cut edge of the window is the most exposed surface on the whole piece, and low-density foam crumbles there first.
